Taal Volcano is an active volcano in the Philippines that can be reach thru Talisay and San Nicolas in Batangas. Taal Volcano consists of an island in Lake Taal, the volcano was formed by an earlier very large eruption. Now, Taal is a non-active volcano. Taal volcano has erupted violently several times, causing loss of life in the populated areas surrounding the lake in Batangas.
To reach the Crater Lake, one must first hire a banca (small outrigger boat). Currently, Taal Volcano was proposed to build a SPA business and was deny by Major Vilma Santos who insist for the SPA business runned by Korean guy. In fairness, this is mother earth's beauty and please do not make it a private place or enclosed to public nor make SPA businesses.
